Problem : Pressure gauges need colour bands to identify the safety or danger bands, for easy communication to the field personnel. For this, the gauge manufacturer has to be indicated in advance about the desired safe and unsafe bands. These cannot be set on the fly on the field.
Solution : Ogauge provides the feature called ‘Sector’ to assign colours to a desired interval of the entire range. This colour is shown on the screen when the value is between permitted limits. It is easily visible from a distance. Similarly, colours can be assigned to determine whether the value is dangerously high or low to avoid mishaps. All of these lower limit, higher limit and colour of the sectors can be configured on the field on the fly.
